The Department Of Microbiology
Together we work and learn!
Clinical and Diagnostic mycology is a great challenge in this era of increasing incidence of mycoses not only due to known pathogens but those due to emerging and re-emerging fungi that have invaded beyond their epidemiological niche. It requires a team effort- the clinicians, microbiologists and pathologists to mange mycoses. Awareness and application is the key. The objective of this workshop is to train the microbiologists in the techniques of diagnostic mycology and their interpretation with clinical relevance.
