Qualifications (additional requirements):

Knowledge of Application Development Platforms like PHP, JAVA, AJAX Etc.


Summary of Profile:

Functional Areas:

  • Relevant experience in Hospital & Academic Application (HIS / HMIS, LIS, PACS, College Information System)
  • Relevant experience in any Medium / Large size hospital (preferably teaching hospital)
  • Basic knowledge of computers (preferably application software)
  • Keen to work with diverse teams
  • Possessing good communication skills (English and local language), understand hospital processes / workflow, able to gather and define user requirement
  • Flexibility with roles and timing
  • Ability to work under pressure

Job Description:

  • Configure, Implement and manage application software
  • Train users at various levels
  • Provide user support (process, application, system, network)
  • Understand and manage data (data entry and data correction)
  • Identification and manage application bugs and fixes
  • Capture and track end user issues
  • Willing to work in 24x7 environment in night shifts.
  • Good understanding of Different Applications Platforms.
  • Strong understanding of L1 & L2 IT Application support.
  • Ability to work on in stressful environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use in-depth troubleshooting to resolve or workaround user issues                                                              

Roles & Responsibility:

• Responsible for providing technical support of all IT Application including remote support (24x7x365).

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical solutions to end users on respective Applications

• Assists users to diagnose problems and provide resolution on technical queries.

• Work closely with colleagues, developers, testers and various levels of users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

• Monitor and track issues to ensure accurate resolution.

• Provide informal and training to Users on Applications as and when required.

  • Possesses good oral and written communication, preferably in English language

  • Have relevant experience preferably any medium / large size hospital
  • Understand processes / workflow preferably in any teaching hospital
