High quality outpatient and inpatient services for patients with rheumatic diseases is provided with state-of-the- art diagnostic facilities.The department caters to 18,000 OPD patients in a year, which includes both adults and children. Major contribution will be from inflammatory arthritis (autoimmune disease predominantly involving the joints). Our special interest is in multi-system autoimmune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE/Lupus), scleroderma, juvenile onset arthritis and inflammatory myositis.The center has a facility for multiple cross specialty consultation, intensive care facility and 24 hour emergency services which can manage sick and complicated systemic autoimmune disease patients.
