Ongoing research projects include : - Diagnostic and immunological testing modalities in tuberculosis
- Epidemiology, comorbidity profile, functional assessment and rehabilitation in COPD
- Newer monitoring modalities in asthma and profile of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis
- Bronchiectasis registry
- Clinical profile and molecular biomarkers in lung cancer.
- Effects of Smoking cessation interventions
- Development of low cost instrumentation for sleep and airway disorders
- Qualitative studies in patients with OSA and those undergoing invasive diagnostic procedures
- Multiple studies are ongoing in sleep data mining, studying the disease profile, serum biomarkers and comorbid illnesses in OSA and RLS.

Many of these projects are supported by institutional, national and international research grants.
