Who should attend?

Any person with a strong background in statistics who is desirous of improving their understanding on Bayesian approach and to develop computational skill and enthusiastic to develop computational skill using R.

Course Content

The use of R for Bayesian inference
Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method
Gibbs Sampling
Computational algorithms for Bayesian applications.
Simulation from the posterior distribution
Construction of graphs to illustrate the posterior inference
Bayesian tests of simple hypotheses
Bayesian regression models
Bayesian Survival Models
Participants should bring their own laptop for the practical sessions.
