Played a key role in strengthening early detection, timely treatment, disability prevention, and community-based surveillance under the National Leprosy Eradication Programme in Dhanbad district. These efforts successfully reduced the deformity rate among newly diagnosed Hansen's disease (leprosy) cases from 12% to below 1.5%, demonstrating significant improvements in early diagnosis, patient care, and disability prevention while enhancing the overall quality of leprosy control services.
