Early childhood feeding plays a crucial role in a child's growth, development, and lifelong health. Exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months, followed by safe and nutritious complementary feeding, supports optimal nutrition, immunity, and healthy eating habits. However, challenges such as malnutrition, poor dietary practices, socioeconomic inequalities, and climate change continue to affect child health worldwide. Research highlights the importance of responsive feeding, nutrition education, affordable healthy foods, and evidence-based policies to improve child nutrition and break the cycle of malnutrition across generations.
