Project Description

This project focused on the screening of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Hypertension among workmen and executives at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. The initiative aimed to identify individuals at risk through regular health screenings, facilitate early diagnosis, and promote timely medical intervention. In addition to clinical assessments, the programme emphasized health education, lifestyle modification, and preventive measures to reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), improve employee well-being, and foster a healthier workplace.
