Digital Transformation Analyst

The Digital Transformation Analyst will play a key role in driving the digital transformation of St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, comprising of a Medical College, Hospitals, Nursing College, Geriatric Centre and Research Institute. This position is responsible for enhancing our digital presence through effective website and media content management, while also serving as a key liaison for critical digital initiatives, most notably the Hospital Information System (HIS) and Electronic Health Record implementation and other Healthcare software applications. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical acumen, creative vision, and strong interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technology and our diverse academic and clinical stakeholders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities I. Core Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all HIS, EMR, website, social media and illustrations/ graphics related enquiries and updates for the Website, Social Media and other audio-visual media requirements.

• Will coordinate with the Director’s office and Public relations officer for information that is deemed for Press and media dissemination.
• Conduct regular meetings and workshops and document the same with stakeholders to discuss HIS, EMR, website, social-media, audio-visual needs, gather input, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Website Content Management
• Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for the Academy's various digital platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, brand guidelines, and user experience best practices. Effectively communicate project timelines, progress, and any roadblocks to stakeholders.

• Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation, editing, and publication of high-quality, engaging, and accurate content for the Academy's main website and departmental microsites (Medical College, Hospitals, Nursing College, Geriatric Centre and Research Institute). This includes text, images, videos, and interactive elements. Create and maintain user guides and other support documentation for website content contributors.

• Content Governance: Establish and enforce content governance policies, including content lifecycles, review processes, accessibility standards (e.g., Web Content Accessibility Guidelines-WCAG), and Search Engine Optimization [SEO] best practices to maximize visibility and impact.

• Platform Management: Work closely with the IT teams and the Website Developer and Support Team to manage and optimize the content management systems (CMS), ensuring seamless functionality, security, and scalability. Develop and deliver training sessions to staff members on the website content management system (CMS).

• Performance Analysis: Monitor website analytics, user feedback, and content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future content strategies.

• Low-fidelity Sketches: Help develop low-fidelity sketches of webpages prior to hi-fidelity mock-up screens.

2.Media Content & Graphics/Illustrations

• Multimedia Strategy: Develop and implement a multimedia content strategy that leverages various formats (e.g., video, animation, infographics, podcasts) to effectively communicate the Academy's mission, achievements, and services

• Production Oversight: Manage the end-to-end production of media content, including scripting, storyboarding, filming/recording, editing, and post-production, often coordinating with internal teams or external vendors.

• Visual Branding: Ensure all graphics, illustrations, and visual media adhere to the Academy's brand identity and visual guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional aesthetic across all platforms.

• Graphic Design & Illustration: Create compelling visual assets, including infographics, charts, diagrams, social media graphics, and digital illustrations, to support web content, presentations, and marketing campaigns.

• Digital Asset Management: Implement and maintain a robust digital asset management (DAM) system for efficient storage, retrieval, and distribution of all media and graphic assets.

• Emerging Technologies: Research and recommend new media technologies and trends to enhance content delivery and engagement.

3. Stakeholder Engagement for Hospital Information System (HIS) and EMR Implementation

• Liaison & Communication: Act as a primary communication liaison between the HIS implementation team and various internal stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, IT staff, and departmental heads across the Hospital and other administrative entities if required.

• Requirements Gathering: Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather, document, and prioritize user requirements for the EMR, HIS, translating complex clinical and operational needs into clear technical specifications.

• Change Management Support: Develop and implement communication plans and materials (e.g., newsletters, presentations, FAQs) to inform and prepare stakeholders for HIS changes, fostering adoption and minimizing resistance.

• Training & Documentation Support: Collaborate with training teams to develop user-friendly training materials and documentation for the HIS, ensuring a smooth transition for all users.

• Feedback Loop Management: Establish mechanisms for collecting, analyzing, and addressing stakeholder feedback regarding the HIS, EMR ensuring their concerns are heard and integrated into the implementation process.

• Issue Resolution: Assist in identifying and escalating HIS, EMR-related issues, working collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders to find timely resolutions.

• Advocacy: Champion the benefits of the HIS, EMR and digital transformation initiatives among stakeholders, building consensus and enthusiasm for the project.

Eligibility Criteria:
•Education: A Degree in any medicine fields, Masters degree in Hospital Management/ Administration or similar fields preferred.

Experience:
•2-3 years of experience Healthcare Information Technology in a Healthcare organization or a related field.
•Proven experience with HIS, EMR and website content management systems (CMS).
•Strong project management and organizational skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
•Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
•Experience with SEO and web analytics tools.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
•Experience working with multiple team stakeholders.
•Experience with Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms.
•Experience with multimedia development, graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
