Notice for B.Sc. Nursing Admissions 2026

Candidates who have claimed Roman Catholic Christian Religious Minority status in the UGCET-2026 application for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses through KEA for the year 2026 are hereby informed that they must appear for document verification.

The following candidates who have claimed Roman Catholic Christian Religious Minority status in the UGCET-2026 application must attend document verification in person at:

Venue: St. John's College of Nursing
Sarjapur Road, Bangalore

Timings: 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Verification Dates : 

• 22-06-2026
• 23-06-2026
• 24-06-2026

Candidates must bring all relevant documents for verification. (St. John’s College letter dated 04-05-2026 is hosted on the KEA website.)

Categories Required to Attend Verification

1. Institutional Staff Quota
2. Roman Catholic Christian Religious Sisters (Nuns)
3. Roman Catholic Christian Tribals
4. Roman Catholic Christian of Scheduled Caste Origin
5. Native (Local) North Indian Roman Catholic Christians
6. Roman Catholic Christian of Karnataka State
7. Roman Catholic Christian – All India Open Merit

Important Notes

1. Candidates claiming seats under:
   • All India General Open Merit
   • Karnataka State Open Merit

Need NOT attend document verification on 22-06-2026, 23-06-2026, or 24-06-2026.

2. Seat allotment is subject to the issuance of the seat matrix by the Government.

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR KEA DOCUMENT VERIFICATION 

Applicants to St. John’s College of Nursing, Bengaluru must submit the following documents in the prescribed format for KEA document verification. These are in addition to the documents required by KEA. Templates of the additional documents required for admission to St. John’s College of Nursing is given below:

1. Category One : All India General Open Merit: (Need not attend document verification at St. John’s College of Nursing)

•  Study certificate issued by recognized Schools in India stating that the candidate has studied for 7 continuous years including Standard XI and XII

2. Category Two: Institutional Staff Quota (Karnataka)

•  Eligibility Certificate from Director of St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences.

3. Category Three: Roman Catholic Christian Religious Sisters (Nuns)

•  Certificate in prescribed format from the Superior General/ Provincial of the applicant stating that the applicant is a bonafide Professed Religious (Nun)

4. Category Four: Roman Catholic Christian Tribals

•  Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant
•  Certificate in prescribed format from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a Roman Catholic Christian belonging to a Tribal Community in his Diocese

5. Category Five: Roman Catholic Christians of Scheduled Caste Origin

• Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant
• Certificate in prescribed format from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a member of the Roman Catholic Christian community of Scheduled Caste origin belonging to his Diocese.

6. Category Six: Native (Local) North Indian Roman Catholic Christians 

• Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant
• Certificate from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a Native (Local) North Indian Roman Catholic Christian belonging to his diocese

7. Category Seven: Roman Catholic Christians of Karnataka State

• Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant
•  Certificate from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a bonafide Catholic belonging to his diocese in Karnataka State
•  Karnataka State Domicile Certificate as prescribed by Karnataka
  Examination Authority (KEA).

8. Category Eight: Roman Catholic Christians - All India Open Merit 

• Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant 
• Certificate from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a bonafide Catholic belonging to his diocese.

9. Category Nine: Karnataka State Open Merit (Need not attend document verification at St. John’s College of Nursing)

• Karnataka State Domicile Certificate as prescribed by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
