MBBS Admissions 2026–2027: Document Verification Notice

All admissions to St. John's Medical College, Bangalore are done through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) based on the NEET examination only.

Document Verification

Candidates seeking admission under RC2 to RC8 categories must undergo document verification at St. John's Medical College, Bangalore.

  • Dates: 4 August 2026 – 8 August 2026
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

KEA DOCUMENT VERIFICATION FOR CATEGORIES RC2 TO RCS

KINDLY BRING THESE DOCUMENTS LISTED BELOW AND ONE SET OF PHOTOCOPIES FOR DOCUMENT VERIFICATION. REPORTING DATE & TIME IS

4th to 8th August 2026 BETWEEN 9.00AM to 4.00PM 

 

Category 2: Institutional Staff Quota (Karnataka)

  1. KEA Registration with NEET Score card
  2. Affidavit undertaking that they will execute a social obligation service bond to serve for two years in one of the designated hospitals or health centres in a medically underserved area of the Country after graduation
  3. Study certificate issued by recognized Schools in India stating that the candidate has studied for 7 continuous years including Standard XI and XII
  4. Eligibility Certificate from Director of St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences.

Category 3: Roman Catholic Christian Religious (Nuns/Priests)

  1. KEA Registration with NEET Score card
  2. Affidavit undertaking that they will execute a social obligation service bond to serve for two years in one of the designated hospitals or health centres in a medically underserved area of the Country after graduation
  3. Study certificate issued by recognized Schools in India stating that the candidate has studied for 7 continuous years including Standard XI and XII
  4. Certificate in prescribed format from the Superior General/ Provincial of the applicant stating that the applicant is a bona fide Professed Religious (Nun/Priests) (see Certificate Template 2 in Section 2.1.7).
  5. Eligibility Certificate from Director of St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences

Category 4: Roman Catholic Christian Tribals

  1. KEA Registration with NEET Score card
  2. Affidavit undertaking that they will execute a social obligation service bond to serve for two years in one of the designated hospitals or health centres in a medically underserved area of the Country after graduation
  3. Study certificate issued by recognized Schools in India stating that the candidate has studied for 7 continuous years including Standard XI and XII
  4. Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant 
  5. Certificate in prescribed format from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a Roman Catholic Christian belonging to a Tribal Community in his Diocese (see Certificate Template 3 in Section 2.1.7).

Category 5: Roman Catholic Christians of Scheduled Caste Origin

  1. KEA Registration with NEET Score card
  2. Affidavit undertaking that they will execute a social obligation service bond to serve for two years in one of the designated hospitals or health centres in a medically underserved area of the Country after graduation
  3. Study certificate issued by recognized Schools in India stating that the candidate has studied for 7 continuous years including Standard XI and XII
  4. Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant
  5. Certificate in prescribed format from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a member of the Roman Catholic Christian community of Scheduled Caste origin belonging to his Diocese (see Certificate Template 4 in Section 2.1.7).

Category 6: Native (Local) North Indian Roman Catholic Christians

  1. KEA Registration with NEET Score card
  2. Affidavit undertaking that they will execute a social obligation service bond to serve for two years in one of the designated hospitals or health centres in a medically underserved area of the Country after graduation
  3. Study certificate issued by recognized Schools in India stating that the candidate has studied for 7 continuous years including Standard XI and XII
  4. Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant
  5. Certificate from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a Native (Local) North Indian Roman Catholic Christian belonging to his diocese (see Certificate Template 5 in Section 2.1.7).

Category 7: Roman Catholic Christians of Karnataka State

  1. KEA Registration with NEET Score card
  2. Affidavit undertaking that they will execute a social obligation service bond to serve for two years in one of the designated hospitals or health centres in a medically underserved area of the Country after graduation
  3. Study certificate issued by recognized Schools in Karnataka stating that the candidate has studied for 7 continuous years including Standard XI and XII
  4. Baptism Certificate attested by the Bishop of the applicant
  5. Certificate from the Bishop of the applicant stating that the applicant is a bonafide Catholic belonging to his diocese in Karnataka State (see Certificate Template 6 in Section.2.1.7).
