St. John's Medical College Hospital is inviting applications for the post of CSSD Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated CSSD Technician to manage the cleaning, sterilization, storage, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment. The role is crucial in ensuring patient safety and maintaining infection control standards within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, clean, disinfect, assemble, pack, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment (Autoclave, ETO, Plasma, etc.)
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and traceability of sterilized items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the CSSD area
• Follow hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and infection control protocols
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage
• Maintain sterilization records and logs accurately
• Coordinate with OT, wards, and other departments for timely supply
• Report equipment malfunctions and quality issues promptly
