Job Summary
The General Manager / Manager will be responsible for the effective management, operation, and development of all engineering and facility functions across the SJNAHS campuses. The role requires a strategic leader with strong technical and managerial expertise to ensure that facilities, infrastructure, and utilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all functions related to Engineering, Facility Management, Housekeeping, Linen & Laundry, Biomedical Waste Management, Garden, Projects, and Estate.
• Manage preventive maintenance, utilities, and infrastructure across all campuses.
• Develop and implement the Campus Asset and Facility Management System.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, execute, and monitor capital and operational budgets effectively.
• Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational objectives.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of water, power, and medical gases.
• Support all development and expansion projects of the institution.
Eligibility Criteria:
Experience
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering and facility management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Proven experience in managing large facilities, teams, and technical operations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
Skills Required
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gases).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, projects, and contractors effectively.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in healthcare infrastructure.
• Strategic and innovative approach to facility management.
