Job Summary:
The scope of the described study is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms and early indicators of malignant transformation in the oral cavity, with a specific emphasis on oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) and their progression to oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). The study aims to address the high prevalence of oral cancers in India, where 80% of cases stem from OPMDs, by identifying early biomarkers that predict the likelihood of malignant transformation.
Salary : Rs.46,990/- p.m
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform molecular biology experiments.
· Analyse experimental data using statistical and bioinformatics tools.
· Maintain accurate lab records, sample logs, and experiment documentation.
· Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and grant updates.
· Contribute to manuscript writing for publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Eligibility Criteria:
Preferred Qualifications: M.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent grade. Candidates who have qualified NET will be preferred.
