Project Assistant - RHoVAC Project
Posted on: 13 May 2026
Job Summary:
RhoC is a small GTPase, which is actively involved in actin cytoskeletal organization in cells. Functionally distinct from other Rho GTPase family members it has been shown to contribute several tumor's progression. Cancer recurrence or non-response and metastasis is largely attributed to cancer stem cells (CSCs). Our previous publications show that RhoC regulates therapy response and stem cell maintenance in cervical cancer. RhoVac (now known as CHOSA Oncology), has developed an immuno-oncologic drug called RV001, a peptide antigen that establishes an immune response which results in anticancer response and attacks metastatic cells. However, it is not known how RhoC is presented on tumor cells to enable recognition by the immune system. This study proposes to evaluate different levels of expression of RhoC in various cells and correlate with the HLA type and expression.
