This project aims to pool and harmonize data from multiple pregnancy cohorts and clinical studies across India to understand gestational weight gain (GWG) patterns among Indian women and their association with maternal, fetal, and neonatal outcomes. The study will evaluate the applicability of existing international GWG standards, identify trajectories of weight gain during pregnancy, and assess their relationship with outcomes such as preterm birth, low birth weight, small-for-gestational-age births, gestational diabetes, and hypertensive disorders. Findings from this large-scale secondary data analysis will contribute to developing evidence-based, India-specific recommendations for monitoring and optimizing gestational weight gain during pregnancy.

Salary : Rs.36,400/- p.m

• The Project Technical Support–III will be responsible for managing, harmonizing, and maintaining large multi-centre research datasets collected from pregnancy cohorts across India.
• The role includes developing and implementing data management workflows, conducting data cleaning and quality assurance checks, creating standardized data dictionaries, integrating datasets from multiple sources, and developing interactive dashboards and visualizations for project monitoring and reporting. 
• The candidate will work closely with statisticians, epidemiologists, and investigators to ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and timely availability for analysis. 
• Applicants should have a background in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with expertise in database management, data processing, SQL, R/Python, and dashboard development tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Shiny.
