Job Summary:
A Speech Therapist assesses, diagnoses, and treats communication and speech disorders in children and adults. They work with patients who have difficulties related to speaking, understanding language, pronunciation, fluency, voice control, or swallowing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate speech, language, and communication problems
- Create personalized therapy plans
- Help patients improve pronunciation, fluency, and voice quality
- Treat disorders like stammering, autism-related communication issues, hearing impairment, and swallowing difficulties
- Work with children having developmental delays
- Guide parents and caregivers on therapy exercises
- Maintain patient progress records
- Collaborate with doctors, teachers, psychologists, and physiotherapists
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Audiology
- Freshers
