The Division of Health and Humanties, SJRI invites you to the Inaugural Talk  “City as Home: Stories of Bengaluru at St John’s”. It is a new series of talks that explores stories connecting spaces, communities, and histories. It encourages us to move beyond our immediate surroundings and reflect on how we are part of a larger, shared city. Through these conversations, we hope to see Bengaluru in new and meaningful ways. We warmly invite you to the inaugural talk.

Our first session features “The MTR Story: A Labour of Love” by Pratima Chabbi, tracing the journey of MTR, an iconic Bengaluru landmark where food, memory, and everyday city life have come together across generations.
