Dr. Manohar Rao H.R., MS (Orthopaedics), DNB is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at St. John's Medical College Hospital, Bengaluru. He has specialized training in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy(Seoul,South Korea), and Joint Replacement Surgery, with a particular focus on knee and shoulder injuries.

His expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of ACL tears, meniscus tears, cartilage injuries, multi-ligament knee injuries, shoulder dislocations and instability, rotator cuff tears, SLAP tears, and other sports-related injuries. He performs advanced arthroscopic (keyhole) surgeries of the knee and shoulder, helping patients achieve faster recovery, reduced pain, and an early return to sports and daily activities.

Dr. Manohar also specializes in the management of arthritis of the knee and hip, offering both joint preservation procedures and primary knee and hip replacement surgery. His treatment philosophy emphasizes preserving the natural joint whenever possible while providing advanced joint replacement solutions for patients with severe arthritis.
