EVENT SUMMARY 

Mastering airway management is a cornerstone of critical care. The Department of Critical Care Medicine, SJMCH brings a two-day workshop designed to enhance the knowledge and procedural skills of ICU trainees in managing both routine and difficult airways, with an emphasis on safety, simulation, and real-world application

Location and Equipment: CG hall using Intubating Mannequin bust converted to full body, Resusmon

 

Learning objectives: Patient optimization to improve peri-intubation outcomes and situational awareness, post intubation management

Scenario: Pneumonia with septic shock, hypoxic patient in shock, look for fluids and vasopressor to optimize, preoxygenation technique, para-oxygenation, post intubation ventilator settings
