Celebrating Excellence: 217 Graduates and 14 State Rank Holders Honoured at Convocation 2026
The Annual Convocation of St. John's College of Allied Health Sciences & St. John's Institute of Physiotherapy, Bengaluru was held at 3.00 pm on July 24th, 2026.
A total of 217 allied health professionals were awarded their degrees.
A total of 14 graduates and post graduates were awarded state ranks from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences - 2 in BSc, 3 in Masters in Hospital Administration, 1 in Masters in Physiotherapy and 8 in MSc MLT. Notably, Maria Renita Swathy secured 1st rank in Masters in Hospital Administration, Payel Chakraborty secured 1st rank, Sandeep secured 3rd rank in M.Sc MLT (Haematology & Blood Transfusion), Dhanasree Varrier secured 2nd rank, Bhat Divyashree Mahabala secured 3rd rank and Muhammed Shiyas secured 4th rank in M.Sc MLT (Microbiology and Immunology).
Dr P Ranganath Nayak, Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist was the Chief Guest. In his message, he lauded their efforts to achieve excellence, whilst reminding them to uphold integrity and values in their professional life, and constantly bear in mind that success of health care is a result of teamwork. He advised them to carry their motivation as a torch and when fatigue sets in, to be reminded of the oath they had taken today and enlighten the lives of those they care for. Rev Fr Jesudoss Rajamanickam, Director of St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences and other dignitaries graced the event.
