Pioneering Clinical Nutrition Education: Advanced MNT Programme Inaugurated at St. John's
The new specialized course in Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) was inaugurated on 27th July 2026 at St John’s Medical College. This course, conducted by the Division of Nutrition at SJNAHS, has been carefully designed to bridge the gap between bedside medical care and evidence-based clinical nutrition. The curriculum will equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to develop personalized nutritional strategies for managing complex clinical conditions. During this one-year program, students will undergo three months of intensive classroom teaching followed by seven months of hands-on, evidence-based clinical training at SJMCH, enabling them to translate scientific knowledge into effective patient care.
This pioneering initiative reinforces St. John's tradition of academic excellence and its dedication to producing skilled professionals who will contribute meaningfully to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based nutritional care.
