St. John's celebration of the National Doctor's Day pays heartfelt gratitude to the hearts behind every saved life.
St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences celebrated National Doctors' Day, a day paying gratitude to doctors, the hearts behind every saved heartbeat. The day brought together the luminaries, staff members, and students in its effort to thank doctors for shaping the proud journey of St. John's and saving a thousand lives who await a kind outlook combined with the promise of compassionate care.
The day commenced with a holy prayer devoted to the glory of God, his solemn presence, and his divine inspiration. Rev. Fr. Jesudoss Rajamanickam, Director, St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, delivered the presidential address while reaffirming the significance and irreplaceability of empathic care even in the world of Artificial Intelligence and machines. Dr. Balasubramnya AM, an Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT), at St. John’s Medical College Hospital, went on to share his experiences at St. John’s and the events that shaped his journey for decades.
Soon after the presidential address, St. John's felicitated doctors for bringing honor to medicine, a profession devoted to lifecare and healing. The students at St. John's went on to sizzle the stage with their stellar performances. Rev. Fr. Ajit Kerketta, Associate Director of the Hospital and College of Nursing, expressed his viewpoints and gratitude to doctors and everyone who contributed to the program’s success.
