Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated filed worker to join our team at the St. John’s Research Institute for a longitudinal mother and child health project. The study focuses on maternal and child nutrition, growth, health outcomes, and related indicators across multiple follow-up visits.

Salary : Rs. 22,000/- p.m

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support participant recruitment, screening, and enrolment in accordance with study eligibility criteria and ethical guidelines and ensuring participant retention throughout the study period. 

2. Contribute to the planning, development, and structured implementation of the study intervention, ensuring strict adherence to protocol fidelity and methodological integrity, 

3. Coordinate and conduct scheduled follow-up visits, including reminder calls and tracking of participants to ensure retention in the study.

4. Assist in data entry, data verification, and routine data quality checks, and support preliminary data analysis to ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of study data.

5. Conduct home visits specifically for stool and breastmilk sample collection from mothers and children as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). 

6. Collect, label, and transport biological (stool, breastmilk) samples while maintaining sample integrity and cold chain requirements. 

7. Ensure strict adherence to biosafety, infection control, and ethical guidelines during both home visits and institute-based activities. 

8. Maintain accurate sample logs, visit records, and longitudinal documentation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Preferred Qualifications: Graduate in any field

Preferred Language: English, Kannada, Hindi, South Indian Languages
