<p><strong>Introduction to IBSC:</strong></p><p>St. John's Research Institute has duly constituted an Institutional Biosafety Committee (S.2635/60-61) in alignment with the guidelines prescribed by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The committee is entrusted with the responsibility of facilitating the implementation of biosafety protocols to ensure the safe handling and use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and their derivatives, thereby safeguarding both personnel and the environment.</p>
