Job Summary:

Healthy growth from conception through early childhood is critical for long-term physical health, cognitive capacity, and overall productivity. Assessing children's growth is essential for evaluating both individual health and broader socioeconomic development within communities. Currently, the World Health Organization (WHO) growth standards—based on the Multicentre Growth Reference Study (MGRS) conducted over 20 years ago—are widely used. However, practices supporting optimal child growth have evolved, and the Indian data used in WHO-MGRS (collected from South Delhi) is often considered non-representative of the country's diverse population. To address these gaps, a prospective cohort study is being conducted across six regions in India to develop updated growth and neurodevelopmental standards for children from 0-24 months under optimal biological, socioeconomic, and behavioural conditions

Salary: Rs.36,400/- p.m

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting maternal recovery and infant health progress.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data and the robustness of data
  • Perform routine newborn assessments, including Delivery information, Anthropometry and evaluation of feeding patterns.
  • Counselling to parents on essential newborn care, including hygiene, swaddling, safe sleep practices and immunization schedules
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting maternal recovery and infant health progress.
  • Schedule follow-up visits and phone calls related to home visits.

Eligibility Criteria:

Preferred Qualifications: MSC Nutrition/Life Science/MSC Nursing or any Relevant Degree.

Preferred Language: English , Kannada ,Tamil (optional) , Hindi (optional)

Age Limit: 35 Years
