Course Objectives:
1. To fulfil the knowledge requirement of all PhD Scholars, Research Scientists, Principal Investigators, students embarking on research projects on why ethics is important for carrying out good research
2. To equip researchers with insights and skills to interrogate good ethical practices in research and include them in their personal research projects
3. To provide researchers the ability to respond to new ethical challenges in research.
For Course meant for : Researchers & PhD scholars engaged in research involving human participants or human data
FacCourse Faculty: Senior health professionals, Bioethicists, Transdisciplinary researchers, Ethics Committee members

Mode of teaching-learning: Hybrid (in-person and online), combination of lectures, case-based/ real world examples, pre and post session reading material, group discussion and individual assignments and student presentations

RPE 01: PHILOSOPHY AND ETHICS – Week 1
RPE 02: SCIENTIFIC CONDUCT & RESEARCH ETHICS – Week 2 & 3
RPE 03: TECHONOLOGY ADVACEMENT & PUBLICATION ETHICS – Week 4 & 5
Each subject area will cover conceptual to applied areas. These include participant protection, public health research ethics, secondary research ethics, publication misconduct, artificial intelligence in health research and publications.
