Diagnosis of tuberculosis using host & bacterium biomarker signatures
Project Description
To validate blood based host & pathogen biomarker as a rapid diagnostic teat for tuberculosis to replace the current sputum based test. To validate these biomarkers as a early marker for response or failure to therapy during the course of TB treatment. Pilot study to monitor these biomarkers in extra pulmonary TB samples for Diagnosis and response to treatment.
