Project Description

This qualitative research will study how brain injury and stroke patients, and their caregivers in India navigate institutional and home care. The research will be conducted in the city of Bengaluru and will take a mixed methods approach. Contacts with relevant individuals and organizations have been established to facilitate the research. The study will include ethnographic interviews, art workshops, comic strip production, participant observation, focus groups and photography.
