Stigma Project - Perceptions of Medical and Nursing Students of the Stigma in TB and Diabetes Mellitus
Project Description
The study involved the comparison of the perceptions of medical and nursing undergraduate students, and of patients, to stigma in TB and Diabetes using the Explanatory Model Interview Catalogue (EMIC) stigma scale. 50 TB Patients, 50 Diabetes Mellitus Patients, 111 Medical Students, 79 nursing students were covered using the EMIC questionnaire and 8 Focus Group Discussions were held to collect qualitative data from the medical and nursing students.
