Endocrinology

The Department of Endocrinology provides comprehensive care for disorders related to hormones and metabolism. The department manages a wide spectrum of endocrine conditions including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, pituitary diseases, adrenal disorders, metabolic bone diseases, obesity, and reproductive endocrine disorders.
The department was initially established as a division under Internal Medicine in the year 2001 and subsequently developed into a full-fledged independent Department of Endocrinology. Since its inception, the department has been committed to providing specialized, evidence-based, and patient-centered endocrine care.
Services offered by the department includes comprehensive diabetes care with patient education, insulin injection technique training, counseling on lifestyle modification, prevention and management of hypoglycemia, and screening and management of diabetic complications including diabetic foot care.
The department provides daily outpatient services from Monday to Saturday and also offers inpatient care for evaluation and management of complex endocrine and metabolic disorders.
