St. John's Medical College proudly presents a comprehensive prospectus of its training programs aimed at enhancing health research capabilities across multiple disciplines. Our offerings are tailored for a wide range of participants, including medical students, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policy-makers. A highlight of our curriculum is the Bangalore Boston Nutrition Collaborative (BBNC) short course, an immersive two-week program that delves into international nutrition research methodologies. Attendees will benefit from a blend of engaging lectures and practical sessions that explore nutritional physiology, molecular nutrition, and epidemiologic research techniques. This course is designed to refine methodological expertise and facilitate the application of research insights into public health strategies.
Beyond nutrition, St. John's Medical College also hosts NIH-sponsored initiatives in health research, focusing on clinical research methodologies. Collaborating with esteemed institutions such as PHRI and McMaster University, we have successfully trained over 1,100 participants from diverse backgrounds. Our courses encompass two-week sessions on health research methodology, hands-on workshops in data management and biostatistics, and mentorship opportunities for undergraduate researchers.
