Overview
Neurosurgery
We focus on complex and innovative brain and spinal surgeries that are both cost-effective and safe. Our routine neurosurgical procedures include neuroendoscopy, pituitary tumor surgery, neurovascular surgery, functional and stereotactic surgery, minimally invasive brain and spine surgery, and 24/7 neurotrauma care, as well as other neuro emergencies. We also specialize in neuro-oncology, skull base surgery, and epilepsy surgery, including vagal nerve stimulation.
Our department is equipped with several state-of-the-art technologies. We have two high-end operating microscopes (Pentero 900 and OH5), neuronavigation systems (Medtronic S8 Stealth Station with a complete range of accessories including navigable drills, microscopes, and ultrasound), a neuroendoscope (Karl Storz–LOTTA), ultrasonic suction apparatus (Stryker), pneumatic and electric drills (Midas Rex), C-arm equipment (Phillips), and a minimally invasive spine surgery system (Medtronic), along with various skull clamps (Mayfield, Sugita, etc.), in addition to routine micro neurosurgical instruments.
Almost all our elective cranial and spinal surgeries are performed using advanced technologies such as microscopes, neuroendoscopes, neuronavigation, intra-operative fluorescence, intra-operative neuromonitoring, or C-arm guidance.
