The Department of Radio-Diagnosis and Interventional Radiology at St. John’s Medical College Hospital is committed to delivering exceptional diagnostic and minimally invasive therapeutic services through state-of-the-art imaging technologies. Our Mission
We are committed to offering safe, timely, and precise imaging and interventional care that supports patients' health journey. By combining modern technology with medical expertise, we aim to deliver care that’s both efficient and empathetic.

Clinical and Emergency Services
The department provides continuous imaging support for outpatients, inpatients, and emergency cases. A 24×7 service framework enables prompt response for critical conditions including trauma, stroke, and other acute pathologies requiring immediate imaging or intervention.

Infrastructure and Facilities
Equipped with advanced diagnostic and interventional systems, our facilities include:

• Seven X-ray units, including two digital radiography systems
• One fluoroscopy system for dynamic and specialized imaging
• Eleven ultrasound machines offering 2D, 3D, and 4D imaging, Colour Doppler, and guided interventions
• One mammography unit for comprehensive breast imaging and cancer screening
• Two CT scanners (16-slice and 128-slice) for high-resolution multi-detector imaging
• Two MRI systems (1.5T and 3T) for advanced soft tissue and neuro-imaging
• One mono-plane and one bi-plane cath lab with DSA for complex neuro, vascular, oncologic, and hepato-biliary procedures
