Introduction to the Course:
Offered by the Department of Physiology at St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore, the ANS Clinic Course is a structured online learning program focused on autonomic nervous system testing and interpretation. It is designed to support clinical application and foster collaboration with experts in the field. Participants are expected to actively engage with the video content, assignments, and case reports for effective learning outcomes.
Eligibility: Open to healthcare professionals, postgraduate students, and researchers with an interest in autonomic function and physiology.
Duration: 1 month (Self-paced online course)
Optional in-person practical component available after completion of the online module.
Responsibilities of the Participant:
Watch all 15 pre-recorded video lectures in full
Complete 20-question MCQ-based assessments (3 attempts allowed to improve score)
Review additional reading materials (where provided)
Analyse and report 5 ANS test case reports (history, values, and diagnosis)
Acknowledge and reflect on feedback provided by course organizers
Mode of Conduction: Online (via Learning Platform)
Assessment Criteria for Successful Completion:
100% viewing of all recorded video lectures
At least 60% aggregate score in MCQ assessments
Correct diagnosis in a minimum of 4 out of 5 ANS test case reports
Review and acknowledgment of course feedback
Advance Course (Optional):
Participants who successfully complete the online module are eligible to register for the Advanced ANS Course, which includes hands-on training and practical exposure at St. John’s Medical College. Details will be shared with eligible candidates.
