Conferences, CMEs, workshops and symposia have always been an integral part of Medicine. It is hard for us to imagine medicine without conferences-a means of sharing the latest updates in an ever-advancing field, or medical education without workshops and CME programs, where one never fails to be amazed by how much there is still to learn. This article reveals an unescapable fallout from these programs…the damage to the environment! and what can be done to minimise this.
