Her areas of interest include working with individuals with suicidal ideation and behaviours, individuals with serious mental illness, depression, anxiety disorders and individuals with mental health issues who have comorbid medical conditions. She enjoy teaching. She has had privilege of being the principal investigator for an ICMR funded project that has evaluated role of telephone based interventions in individuals with suicide attempts.
